It was yet another beautiful day on Saturday for the lovely wedding of Yumiko and Duncan at Pittodrie House.
Gorgeous bride Yumiko was born and brought up in Saga, Japan.
It was when groom Duncan went to work in Yokohama Japan, that the couple met on a cruise.
As a couple they moved from Japan to Darwin, Australia, where they now live.
It was back to Scotland however, to marry where Duncan was brought up.
The couple were lucky enough to be joined by family and friends, some of whom had travelled a long way to help them celebrate!
Yumiko looked stunning in her beautiful gown purchased at Brides Delight.
Duncan wore his own kilt outfit which he purchased at Gibbs.
After a lovely ceremony, everyone was able to enjoy the lovely grounds and views around Pittodrie house, while we spent some time with the lovely couple.
The function room looked lovely and had some Japanese inspired touches, including Japanese fans for the ladies, and bottles of Saki for the men!
Also, after a wonderful meal, everyone was able to enjoy the Saki and green tea bar.
The speeches also followed Japanese tradition, with Yumiko replying to her fathers speech with a beautifully written and illustrated letter.
Evening entertainment was provided by excellent band, Heartland, booked through Elite Promotions.
Yumiko is a talented dancer, who was involved in classical ballet when she was younger, so the couple had a great first dance, which was enjoyed by everyone!
We wish Duncan and Yumiko all the best for a long and happy future together.
