We first met Lindsey and Murray at their lovely pre wedding shoot down at the beach back in April.

Time flies, and fast forward to September, and their beautiful St Machar’s Cathedral and Meldrum House wedding!

Yet again we were lucky to have good weather, and a fabulous blue sky.

Lindsey was a stunning bride and wore a gorgeous Augusta Jones gown, purchased at Mears Ghyll Bridal. Her beautiful bridesmaids  wore Amanda Wyatt dresses.

Murray wore his own kilt outfit, made for him by Georgian Dress Hire, while his groomsmen hired.

Lindsey arrived in style for the ceremony in a beautiful vintage Rolls Royce from Bespoke Arrivals.

After a lovely ceremony it was back to Meldrum House to celebrate with family and friends.

The ballroom looked beautiful, with table decor from North East Events and florist Dolce Vita, and a beautiful cake by Couture Wedding Cakes by Sweet Cheeks.

Superb evening entertainment was provided by Ceilidh band The Tatties from Glasgow, and a great evening of dancing was had by all.

We are sure that by now Lindsey and Murray will be having a fabulous time on honeymoon in the Maldives! We wish them all the best for a wonderful future together.

A lovely change of scenery for us on Friday, as we headed off to the wedding of Johanna and Sandy at the lovely Dorsell Farm where Johanna grew up.

Johanna was a beautiful bride and had chosen a stunning Stella York gown from Angharad Bridal. Her four lovely bridesmaids wore pale blue, and what a gorgeous line up they all made.

Groom Sandy wore his own kilt which was the Royal Pride tartan, whilst his groomsmen hired from McCalls.

Johanna and Sandy’s many friends and family gathered at Tough Church to see the happy couple get married, before heading back to a fabulous marquee on the farm to celebrate. Everyone enjoyed lovely canapes, drinks and even ice cream, while they relaxed and listened to wonderful singer, Amy Papiransky.

The sun didn’t shine, but the weather was mild and there was a lovely soft light for photographs. There was also plenty of wonderful scenery surrounding the farm which was obviously very special for the couple.

We paid a visit to the barley field for some great shots, and also a quick visit to the nearby Craigievar Castle. Later in the evening as the sun was beginning to set, we headed up to the top of the hill at Dorsell farm for a lovely evening moment.

The marquee looked lovely, with a lot of personal touches from bride and groom. Family friend Marion had made the beautiful wedding cake with a fabulous topper to match the welly boot theme of the wedding stationery!

Country Flavours provided the catering, and as always a wonderful meal was enjoyed by all.

Evening entertainment was provided by great band Edinburgh Sounds and was the perfect round up to the perfect day!

We wish Johanna and Sandy all the best for a wonderful future together!

See below for the line up of suppliers who helped create Johanna and Sandy’s dream day.

Special thanks to our friend Jonathan Addie who was second photographer for the day.

The lovely wedding of Stephanie and Malcolm on Saturday started at the wonderful St Machar’s Cathedral where they were married, before heading to Meldrum House to celebrate with family and friends.

Steph looked gorgeous in her stunning Mark Lesley gown which she purchased at Elmar Bridal. Bridesmaids Laura, Rachel and Erika wore lovely purple dresses also by Mark Lesley and from Elmar.

The handsome men’s line up hired their kilt outfits from Georgian Dress Hire.

Steph and her Dad arrived at St Machar’s for the lovely ceremony in style, in an elegant Beauford. There was plenty of emotion in the cathedral as the very happy couple were married.

It was then off to the fabulous Meldrum House to celebrate, and thankfully the weather was kind. We were able to get plenty of fantastic photos around the house before the meal.

The ballroom looked wonderful having been decorated by the florist and North East Events. There was a clever golfing theme for the tables, which we think may have been Malcolm’s idea!

Rich Gordon from Dundee piped the couple into the ballroom to enjoy a fabulous meal with family and friends as husband and wife!

Superb band Fifth Avenue provided the evening entertainment, and a great time was had by all.

We wish Steph and Malcolm all the best for a long and happy future together!

Friday saw us start in Kintore for the lovely wedding of Claire and Allan.

Claire and Allan have a lovely little boy called Archie, and at the age of only two, he was given big responsibilities on the day. He was put in charge of the rings, and a great job of it he did too!

Claire looked stunning in her wedding gown, and her bridesmaids Rachel and Jolene complimented her perfectly in their pretty pink dresses.

Allan and his groomsmen met up at the Kintore Arms for a few photos before the wedding, and I think it’s fair to say that great fun was had by all!

After a lovely ceremony in Kintore Kirk, it was wonderful to see the age old tradition of a scramble for all the children attending the wedding. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen that and it was great fun!

It was off to the lovely Thainstone House after that to celebrate with family and friends.

Claire and Allan travelled in style in a fabulous VW camper van.

Much to the delight of children and adults alike, Mr Whippy ice cream van arrived to supply everyone with wonderful ice cream treats. A real blast from the past!

The function suite was beautifully decorated, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal before the evening entertainment.

We wish Claire, Allan and Archie all the best for a fantastic future!

Saturday was spent at Pittodrie House for the lovely wedding of Samantha and Matthew.

We had photographed Matthew’s sister Leah’s wedding a few years ago, so it was nice to be back among familiar faces.

Samantha looked stunning in her gorgeous Ronald Joyce gown which she had purchased at Blush Bridal. Her four bridesmaids, including chief bridesmaid Michelle, Samantha’s sister, looked beautiful in their lovely pink dresses which also came from Blush Bridal.

The lovely girls line up was completed with gorgeous flowers provided by Toria blooms in Alford.

Matthew and brother Gareth wore the Highland Sky tartan, hired from Slaters.

The weather for the wedding day was perfect, so after a lovely ceremony, we were able to make the most of the stunning landscape around Pittodrie House for photographs.

The function suite looked beautiful, having been decorated by Toria Blooms, Ruffle and Roses, 3 Tiers, Illuminate and Hullaballoons.

Lovely personal touches came from Samantha’s mum who had made the wedding cake, and Matthew’s sister Leah who had made fudge for the favours.

After a wonderful meal, evening entertainment was provided by superb band Sahara from Edinburgh, which was the perfect end to the perfect day.

We wish Samantha and Matthew all the best for a wonderful future together. You are a lovely couple and deserve all the happiness in the world!

See below for all the suppliers involved in this lovely wedding day.
