It has been a long time since we visited the stunning St Mary’s Chapel at Blairs, so we were very much looking forward to the wedding of Hayley and Charlie.

The weather was kind and the setting was just beautiful for this lovely couple on their special day!

Hayley had chosen a gorgeous Pronovias gown from Avorio Bridal, and her bridesmaids Lauren, Ebony and Elise looked just lovely in pale lilac.
Completing this lovely ladies line up were beautiful little flower girls Kara, Leona and Eva. These girls had a ball at this wedding, and were so good all day!
Beautiful bouquets were provided by Audrey at Audstar.

Groom Charlie and the rest of the handsome men’s line up were kitted out by Neil Selbie, and scrubbed up very well indeed!

After a lovely ceremony, we enjoyed some time at Blairs with Hayley and Charlie taking some lovely relaxed shots outside.

Next it was off to the lovely Holiday Inn Aberdeen West to enjoy a lovely meal, and an evening relaxing with friends and family.
Hayley’s mum Elaine is wedding coordinator at the hotel, and it must have been so special to celebrate her own daughter’s wedding there!

The ballroom looked stunning as always, and Celebration Cake Shop had made a fantastic job of the wedding cake!

We wish Hayley and Charlie all the best for their future together as Mr and Mrs McGeever!

On Saturday we headed to St Columba’s Church in Banchory, for the lovely wedding ceremony of Caroline and Duncan.

Afterwards we moved on to the beautiful Raemoir House Hotel, where the couple celebrated their marriage with family and friends.

Caroline looked stunning and so very elegant in her gorgeous Pronovias gown which she purchased at Avorio bridal.
Sister Lizzie and friend Sonia complimented her beautifully in their Jacques Vert bridesmaid dresses.

Duncan wore his own kilt in the family tartan, which was made at Neil Selbie.

The gorgeous bouquets and table flowers were provided by the very talented Donna at XOXO, and had a beautiful Spring look to them.

In the function room, and throughout the hotel, there was a Cocoa Beach theme, inspired by wonderful trips by the couple to Florida.
The two stunning cakes however, were Australian themed, inspired by Duncan’s proposal to Caroline in Australia.
We have to say these two cakes, provided by Celebration Cake shop, were two of the most creative that we have ever seen!

Caroline’s mum Catherine had played a large part in decorating the house, and had decorated the wedding tables beautifully.

This very musical family provided some of their own musical entertainment throughout the evening, whilst enjoying the company of their guests.
Caroline’s sister Lizzie sang in a group both during the ceremony and afterwards, and Caroline’s dad, who is part of the Rubislaw pipe band, piped the couple into the wedding meal.
Later in the evening he was joined by members of the pipe band, who entertained guests.

There was a final treat in store for everyone with a fantastic firework display!
It really was the perfect end to the perfect day for this lovely couple and their families.

We wish Caroline and Duncan all the best in their future together as Mr and Mrs Harwood!

Saturday brought us to the Banff Springs hotel for the wedding of the very lovely Sarah and Callum.

Just when we all thought Spring had sprung however, back came winter with a dose of hail and wind just to keep us all on our toes!
Thankfully we were working with a very relaxed couple, who took everything in their stride, and enjoyed every minute of their day.

Sarah was a stunning bride, and wore a fantastic Ian Stuart gown purchased at Avorio bridal, which really had the wow factor!
On top of that, she simply did not stop smiling the whole day, making our job an absolute pleasure!
Bridesmaid Jodi complimented Sarah beautifully in a lovely blue gown also purchased at Avorio.

Gorgeous flowers to complete the bridal look were provided by Catriona at Blooming Gorgeous.

Callum and his groomsmen wore (very appropriately) the Royal Stewart tartan, completing this lovely bridal party.

After an intimate ceremony, we headed out to capture some outdoor shots of our couple, returning to the comfort of the Banff Springs to capture some more.

Sarah and Callum’s dining area was beautifully decorated by Gemma Victoria at Ruffle and Rose.
Amy from Couture wedding cakes by Sweet Cheeks, had made a beautiful cake, personalised with Sarah and Callum’s pets!
There was a lovely Easter theme running too, with lovely egg cup favours made by the bride and groom.

After a wonderful meal, guests were treated to an evening of entertainment provided by fantastic band, Velvet 5!

The perfect wedding for the perfect couple!

All the best Sarah and Callum in your future together as Mr and Mrs Stewart!

Saturday saw us at Meldrum House Hotel for the beautiful wedding of Lynne and Jackie.

Lynne was hoping for snow, but unfortunately it didn’t happen.
However this was a gorgeous winter themed wedding, with lots of sparkle and beautiful touches, so it was hardly missed!

Lynne looked stunning in her beautiful Pronovias gown which she purchased at Avorio bridal.
Her lovely bridesmaids Ellie, Lisa, Amanda and Aimee looked so pretty in their white dresses, also from Avorio.

Beautiful bouquets from Isla Duncan florist finished off the look for this lovely bridal party.

Handsome groom Jackie and his groomsmen were kitted out at McCalls.

After a lovely ceremony conducted by Sheila Lawtie, guests mingled and enjoyed music from fabulous singer Billy Main.
Meanwhile we enjoyed time with bride and groom photographing in and around the grounds of the lovely Meldrum House.

The ballroom was beautifully decorated with the help of North East events, D Events and Illuminate.
Everywhere you looked there were gorgeous touches and lots of winter sparkle!

After a lovely meal, it was time to dance the night away to superb band Splash, but not before a surprise confetti cannon!
This was particularly appreciated by all the small children at the wedding!

We hope Jackie and Lynne are having a fabulous time on honeymoon in New York!
Where better to be at this festive time of year!
We wish them and lovely daughter Ellie a fabulous life together as Mr and Mrs Green!

Saturday brought us back to Meldrum House for the lovely wedding of Lucy and Darren.

After a very wet start, the weather settled down, allowing Lucy and Darren some lovely sunshine and blue skies for their photographs.

Lucy bought her beautiful Ronald Joyce gown from Avorio bridal, and looked absolutely stunning.

Groom Darren and his groomsmen were kitted out by Neil Selbie.

After a lovely ceremony in the ballroom, we enjoyed some time with Lucy and Darren in and around Meldrum House for photographs, whilst guests mingled and relaxed.

As always, the meal was wonderful, and enjoyed by all.

The day was perfectly rounded off with a disco from Big Day Entertainment, which kept guests dancing all night long.

We wish all the best to Lucy and Darren for a fantastic future together as Mr and Mrs Owens.
