It was down to the Beach Ballroom on Saturday for the lovely wedding of Paula and Jamie. The couple had a large wedding, so the Ballroom was ideal for them, and wow had they gone to a huge effort to decorate it!

Paula looked stunning in her Ronald Joyce gown which she had purchased at Brides Delight, and her five Bridesmaids complimented her perfectly in their lovely grey dresses.

There were also five little ones in the bridal party, all of whom were very good, and thoroughly enjoyed their day.

The Groom and his groomsmen had hired their kilt outfits in the Royal Pride of Scotland tartan from McCalls.

Friends and family gathered in the ballroom to see the couple married by  Humanist celebrant, Louise McAllister.

The weather, although not sunny, was lovely and mild so we took a short walk over to the beach front to capture some lovely images of the couple.

Afterwards, it was in to the ballroom  for a wonderful meal. The lovely decoration was covered by Ruffle and Rose and lit by GCE Events.

Still lots to look forward to with evening entertainment provided by DJ Keith Blake who was a friend of Paula and Jamie.

We wish Paula and Jamie all the best for a fantastic future together as Mr and Mrs Bain!

On Friday we had our first beautiful wedding at Elsick House with lovely couple Michelle and Tom.

We first met Michelle and Tom back in November when we did a lovely pre wedding shoot with them at Dunnottar Castle, and at home on Michelle’s Dad’s farm in Stonehaven. With a farming background, it was lovely to see the couple bring a touch of country life to their wedding!

Michelle looked stunning and so elegant in her Augusta Jones gown which she purchased at Ivory Grace. Bridesmaids Jacqueline, Lyndsey, Gemma and Steph completed this beautiful ladies line up wearing gorgeous pink dresses from Blush Bridal.

Tom wore his own kilt which is the muted Grant.

Family and friends gathered at Dunnottar Church to see the couple being married by Minister Rosalind Duncan, before joining them at Elsick House for a wonderful celebration. The couple were piped in and out by family friend Gregor Macintosh.

The day had started wet, but the rain stopped as we returned to Elsick, allowing us some time with Michelle and Tom in the fabulous grounds of the House. Guests relaxed and mingled, enjoying canopes and drinks while listening to the excellent Myke Black singing.

The marquee looked beautiful, with table decorations from Higher Calling Events and a beautiful cake made by Truly Scrumptious Cakes by Joanne. The favours were  lovely little pots of homemade jam made by Tom’s granny Grant. So nice to see the whole family involved in the wedding preparations!

A fantastic meal from Hudsons Catering was enjoyed by all, before the evening entertainment was provided by great band Bahookie.

We wish Michelle and Tom all the best for a wonderful future together as Mr and Mrs Greenhill.

Well it was another brilliant Summers day at the Marcliffe on Saturday, for the lovely wedding of Nicola and Gary.

Nicola’s mum Sheena has worked at the Marcliffe for many years, so it was time for her to take a well earned break, and enjoy the wedding of her beautiful daughter Nicola!

Nicola looked stunning in her gorgeous Essence of Australia gown, purchased at Perfect Bridal.

Her Bridesmaids Laura and Sarah complimented her perfectly in beautiful lavender  Sorella Vita dresses.

The perfect finishing touch for Nicola and her Bridesmaids were lovely bouquets provided by florist Dolce Vita.

The guys hired their kilt outfits from Milsom and Main and chose the Grey Crombie.

Guests gathered for the lovely wedding ceremony conducted by Humanist Vanessa Smith, before heading back out into the sunshine to mingle and enjoy drinks and canapes.

It appeared that Laura and Sarah were not the only Bridesmaids at the wedding, as family dog Jess arrived to spend some time with the wedding party and enjoy a little photo shoot of her own!

The dining room at the Marcliffe looked beautiful, and the wedding cake provided by the very talented Cakes by Kirsty was a real show piece.

After a wonderful meal, guests were entertained by talented band Northern Star from Edinburgh.

We wish Nicola and Gary all the best for a lifetime of happiness as Mr and Mrs Mackie!

What a lovely day we had at Pittodrie House with Georgina and Phil and their family and friends.
There were plenty of familiar faces at this wedding for us, which always makes it a bit more special.

Phil hails from Aberdeen, although the couple now live down south in Georgina’s home city of Bath.
Neither could resist however, the appeal of a lovely Scottish wedding, and chose Pittodrie House as their perfect venue.

Georgina looked stunning in her beautiful wedding gown which she purchased at Mae Bridal in Oxford.
She was complimented perfectly by her two sisters who were bridesmaids, and her absolutely adorable nieces Amelia, Maddie and Pheobe and nephew Charlie.
The four children were absolute stars and posed for pictures like true models!
Auntie Georgina and uncle Phil must have been so proud of them!

Phil wore his own kilt which is the MacLeod of Harris tartan, while the groomsmen hired prestige grey spirit from Slaters, and a handsome group they were!

The weather was certainly not behaving on the day, however we scots are well and truly used to that, and it did nothing to dampen the mood at this lovely wedding!

After a lovely relaxed ceremony it was time for guests to mingle and time for some photos inside and out.
The Rococco quartet provided lovely background music while everyone enjoyed drinks and canopes.

Bennachie was popping in and out of the mist, but thankfully put in an appearance for a few photos!
Thankfully Georgina had a beautiful tartan stole to match Phil’s kilt to keep her warm!

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal in the lovely function suite, before the Reel McCoy rounded off the day perfectly, with plenty of fabulous tunes to dance the night away to.

We hope Georgina and Phil have a fabulous honeymoon in the far East, and even more importantly, a fantastic future together as Mr and Mrs Ouston!

We were blessed again with fabulous weather for the beautiful wedding of Danielle and Chris at Cluny Castle.

This was our first visit to Cluny, and we were delighted with what it had to offer both inside and out in the grounds!

Danielle was a stunning bride and looked absolutely gorgeous in her Ronald Joyce gown purchased at Brides Delight.
Bridesmaids Sarah and Kathryn wore beautiful Jenny Packham dresses.

Groom Chris and his brother Jamie wore the MacFarlane modern Hunting tartan, and looked very smart indeed.

The wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful chapel at Cluny and conducted by Neil Mellis.

Guests enjoyed refreshments while we spent time with bride and groom capturing some fabulous moments in the beautiful setting of Cluny.

Later it was time to head to the lovely Thainstone House Hotel where the reception was to be held.
Great singer Myke Black kept everyone well entertained until mealtime.

The function suite looked beautiful, having been decorated by 3 Tiers, Illumin8 and A Line.
The lovely flowers on the table were also provided by Floral Design.

Bride and groom added their own personal touch with their “Brew cat” and “Big Mo” beer and moet favours.
You will appreciate that they are cat lovers when you see the pictures!

After a lovely meal it was time to settle down and enjoy the evening entertainment provided by great band The Lockharts from Glasgow.

Anyone feeling peckish in the evening did not have to worry, as a visit from the Bay Fish and Chip van later, went down a treat!

We wish Danielle and Chris all the best for a fabulous future together as Mr and Mrs MacFarlane!
