Saturday was spent at Pittodrie House for the lovely wedding of Samantha and Matthew.

We had photographed Matthew’s sister Leah’s wedding a few years ago, so it was nice to be back among familiar faces.

Samantha looked stunning in her gorgeous Ronald Joyce gown which she had purchased at Blush Bridal. Her four bridesmaids, including chief bridesmaid Michelle, Samantha’s sister, looked beautiful in their lovely pink dresses which also came from Blush Bridal.

The lovely girls line up was completed with gorgeous flowers provided by Toria blooms in Alford.

Matthew and brother Gareth wore the Highland Sky tartan, hired from Slaters.

The weather for the wedding day was perfect, so after a lovely ceremony, we were able to make the most of the stunning landscape around Pittodrie House for photographs.

The function suite looked beautiful, having been decorated by Toria Blooms, Ruffle and Roses, 3 Tiers, Illuminate and Hullaballoons.

Lovely personal touches came from Samantha’s mum who had made the wedding cake, and Matthew’s sister Leah who had made fudge for the favours.

After a wonderful meal, evening entertainment was provided by superb band Sahara from Edinburgh, which was the perfect end to the perfect day.

We wish Samantha and Matthew all the best for a wonderful future together. You are a lovely couple and deserve all the happiness in the world!

What a lovely day we had at Pittodrie House with Georgina and Phil and their family and friends.
There were plenty of familiar faces at this wedding for us, which always makes it a bit more special.

Phil hails from Aberdeen, although the couple now live down south in Georgina’s home city of Bath.
Neither could resist however, the appeal of a lovely Scottish wedding, and chose Pittodrie House as their perfect venue.

Georgina looked stunning in her beautiful wedding gown which she purchased at Mae Bridal in Oxford.
She was complimented perfectly by her two sisters who were bridesmaids, and her absolutely adorable nieces Amelia, Maddie and Pheobe and nephew Charlie.
The four children were absolute stars and posed for pictures like true models!
Auntie Georgina and uncle Phil must have been so proud of them!

Phil wore his own kilt which is the MacLeod of Harris tartan, while the groomsmen hired prestige grey spirit from Slaters, and a handsome group they were!

The weather was certainly not behaving on the day, however we scots are well and truly used to that, and it did nothing to dampen the mood at this lovely wedding!

After a lovely relaxed ceremony it was time for guests to mingle and time for some photos inside and out.
The Rococco quartet provided lovely background music while everyone enjoyed drinks and canopes.

Bennachie was popping in and out of the mist, but thankfully put in an appearance for a few photos!
Thankfully Georgina had a beautiful tartan stole to match Phil’s kilt to keep her warm!

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal in the lovely function suite, before the Reel McCoy rounded off the day perfectly, with plenty of fabulous tunes to dance the night away to.

We hope Georgina and Phil have a fabulous honeymoon in the far East, and even more importantly, a fantastic future together as Mr and Mrs Ouston!

It was yet another beautiful day on Saturday for the lovely wedding of Yumiko and Duncan at Pittodrie House.

Gorgeous bride Yumiko was born and brought up in Saga, Japan.
It was when groom Duncan went to work in Yokohama Japan, that the couple met on a cruise.

As a couple they moved from Japan to Darwin, Australia, where they now live.

It was back to Scotland however, to marry where Duncan was brought up.
The couple were lucky enough to be joined by family and friends, some of whom had travelled a long way to help them celebrate!

Yumiko looked stunning in her beautiful gown purchased at Brides Delight.
Duncan wore his own kilt outfit which he purchased at Gibbs.

After a lovely ceremony, everyone was able to enjoy the lovely grounds and views around Pittodrie house, while we spent some time with the lovely couple.

The function room looked lovely and had some Japanese inspired touches, including Japanese fans for the ladies, and bottles of Saki for the men!
Also, after a wonderful meal, everyone was able to enjoy the Saki and green tea bar.

The speeches also followed Japanese tradition, with Yumiko replying to her fathers speech with a beautifully written and illustrated letter.

Evening entertainment was provided by excellent band, Heartland, booked through Elite Promotions.

Yumiko is a talented dancer, who was involved in classical ballet when she was younger, so the couple had a great first dance, which was enjoyed by everyone!

We wish Duncan and Yumiko all the best for a long and happy future together.

Saturday saw us at the lovely Pittodrie House where Jennifer and Daniel celebrated their marriage with their lovely little daughter Zoe and their family and friends.

The rain stayed off to allow the couple a beautiful outdoor ceremony with the stunning backdrop of Bennachie for everyone to enjoy.

Jennifer looked gorgeous in her Stella York gown from Perfect Bridal, and her lovely bridesmaids looked pretty in pink!

We enjoyed a lovely photo session in and around Pittodrie in the many beautiful and scenic places it has to offer.

There was a quirky super hero theme running through this wedding. Daniel is a big fan! He even influenced Jennifer’s choice of wedding shoes!

After a lovely meal it was time to dance the night away to the band Fusion.

We wish this lovely family all the best for a fantastic future together!

We had our final wedding of the year last Saturday with Louise and Sam, and couldn’t have wished for a more fun and fabulous occasion!
Louise looked so beautiful in her gown from La Orr boutique and her happiness on her wedding day shone through!
The day was dark and misty, but nothing could dampen the spirits of Louise and Sam .These two are very much in love and enjoyed every moment of their wedding day!
Louise and Sam went for a “Shabby Chic” theme for their wedding reception , which Louise organised very well by herself.
After a wonderful meal, guests were entertained by the fantastic band Mustang.
All the best to a lovely fun loving couple with a great zest for life! We wish you all the best for a fantastic future together!
