We thoroughly enjoyed photographing the lovely wedding of David and Liliana at Meldrum House last Saturday.

We first met the couple at their pre wedding shoot at Haddo House last Autumn, and we knew then that they would be good fun to work with.

David hails from Scotland, and Liliana from Venezuela, so their wedding saw not only the coming together of two families, but also two different cultures!
Their love for each other, and their happiness and enthusiasm on the day, just shone through in the photographs!

Liliana looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous Pronovias gown which she purchased at Avorio bridal.
Bridesmaids Amaranta, Fae and Maria complimented her beautifully in their lovely Kelsey Rose dresses.
Beautiful flowers from Nicky Walker finished their look perfectly.

David and his Groomsmen wore the Anderson tartan of course, and looked very smart indeed!
David wore his own outfit, while the others hired from Georgian Dress Hire.

The lovely ceremony was conducted by Eve Bailey and was very heartfelt and emotional.

While guests mingled and got to know each other better, we spent time with Liliana and David and simply had the best models to work with!
Along with Steve and Cheryl from Orchard Video, we had a great time with lots of laughs!

The ballroom looked beautiful, decorated by North East Events, and with gorgeous flowers from Nicky Walker.
The theme was travel, and the tables were named after various football stadiums around the world. We feel David may have had a say in this!

Guests were treated to a wonderful meal before being entertained by the great band Fifth Avenue.

We hope that Liliana and David are having a great honeymoon, and wish them all the best for what we know will be a fabulous future together as Mr and Mrs Anderson!

Saturday saw us back at the lovely Logie Country House for the wedding of Chloe and Craig.
We first met Chloe and Craig back in October at their lovely pre wedding shoot. Time flew, and before we knew it, it was their wedding day!

Rain was forecast, but thankfully we didn’t see a drop and were able to make good use of the lovely Logie setting, as well as the house itself.

Chloe looked simply beautiful in her Stella York gown purchased at Angharad Bridal in Elgin, where she also purchased her lovely Bridesmaid’s gowns.
Make up artist Kara Kellas and hair stylist Zoe Peterkin finished the look of this stunning ladies line up!

Gorgeous bouquets were provided by the very talented Trina from Trina’s Art and Flowers, and her lovely flowers also adorned the beautiful ballroom.

Handsome Groom Craig wore his own kilt from Portsoy kilts in the lovely Highland Granite tartan.
His best men wore the Hebridean Heather from McCalls.

The couple exchanged gifts and messages to each other before the ceremony, leaving hardly a dry eye among family and even photographers!

The lovely ceremony was held in the ballroom by registrar Linda Rae, then it was time for guests to relax in the very capable hands of Gillian from Logie, and the Hudson team, who served up drinks and very tasty canapes.
Afternoon entertainment was provided by the superb Oliver Richards, and in between his best man duties, Craig’s best man Craig Souter also provided guests with more great entertainment!
Turriff and District Pipe Band added the perfect Scottish touch with a session of pipes and drums.

The Ballroom looked beautiful with it’s theme of favourite concert artists which the couple have seen.
As well as making their own stationery and favours, talented Groom Craig had even made his own Love Letters and flower wall! Great team effort!

Everyone enjoyed a fabulous meal, before some disco entertainment organised by Oliver Richards to round off the perfect day.

We wish Chloe and Craig all the best for a long and happy future together, and hope that they enjoy their honeymoon when it comes.

It was lovely to be back shooting the wedding of Hannah and Gary at the gorgeous Logie Country House on Wednesday, after a short break in the wedding season.
Logie Country House is such a pleasure to visit, with Gillian and the team from Hudson’s making everyone feel very welcome.

The day was cold and we even had a dusting of snow, but Hannah and Gary braved the elements and ventured out for some lovely shots around the house.

Hannah looked beautiful in her stunning gown from Midnight Elegance, where she had also purchased bridesmaid Joanne’s blush pink dress.
Gorgeous flowers from Trina’s art and flowers, and make up from Tiffany Dawson and hair by Alana Crouch, completed the girls look perfectly.

Handsome groom Gary wore his own kilt , very appropriately, in the Elliott tartan, and his groomsmen hired from Philip King.

Hannah and Gary have a gorgeous little boy called Harrison, who is eleven months old, and was possibly the best behaved baby we have ever met!
He had a great day, and charmed everyone with his wonderful personality and lovely smile!

The couple’s intimate ceremony was held in the house with family and friends, and conducted by the lovely Sheila Lawtie.

Guests relaxed and enjoyed the the open fire in the dining room, with drinks and canapes, while we spent some time photographing the lovely couple.

As usual the team at Hudson’s Catering had prepared a beautiful meal for everyone.

There was still time for some sparkler fun, before fabulous band Hip Flask got everyone in the mood for dancing!

We wish Hannah, Gary and Harrison all the best for a fantastic future together!

Saturday saw us at the stunning St Machar’s Cathedral and the Marcliffe with lovely couple Jen and David.
The weather was just perfect, with blue skies and sunshine, along with a touch of lovely Autumn colour.

We first met Jen and David and their lovely baby girl Mirryn at their pre wedding shoot in Stonehaven.
Mirryn was a flower girl at mummy and daddy’s wedding, along with her cousin Cameron, and had grown a lot since we last saw her.
Cousin Harrison was page and completed this cute junior line up!

Jen wore a stunning Ian Stewart gown, which she purchased at Perfect Bridal.
Bridesmaids, sister Gillian, and friends Samantha and Gail, wore lovely sable dresses from Our Day Bridal.

Groom Dave had his kilt outfit made for him at Georgian Dress Hire, and, as Dave hails originally from New Zealand, he very appropriately wore the Pride of New Zealand tartan.
His Groomsmen wore the Pride of Scotland hired from McCalls.

After a lovely ceremony at St Machar’s Cathedral, and time for some photos afterwards, it was off to the Marcliffe to celebrate with family and friends.

Wonderful singer Myke Black entertained guests while we spent a bit more time with bride and groom in and around the Marcliffe.

Piper Aaron Scully piped the couple into the lovely function suite to enjoy a fabulous meal with family and friends.

The function suite had a lovely rustic Autumnal theme.
The cake, provided by Sugar Central, had Autumn leaves cascading down the side, and the macaroon tower, provided by Almondine, was done in lovely Autumn colours.
The tables were named after trees, and the place cards were decorated in Autumn leaves.
Gorgeous floral displays set off the tables beautifully, and were provided by Eden Florist.

Great band, Northern Star provided excellent evening entertainment, while guests also enjoyed the photobooth and the sweetie cart.

It was just the perfect day, enjoyed by all, and we would like to wish Jen, David and Mirryn all the best for a fabulous future!

It was another beautiful day on Saturday at Aswanley, for the wedding of lovely couple Rachel and Iain.
It is a while since we have been at Aswanley, so we were very much looking forward to going back, and also to working again with Steve and Cheryl from Orchard Video.

Rachel had expert help when it came to choosing her wedding dress, as her new sister in law to be, was the lovely Eilidh from Brides Delight!
Needless to say, Rachel looked absolutely stunning in her Ella Rosa gown by designer Kenneth Winston.
Bridesmaids Eilidh and Kirsty wore beautiful Ebony Rose dresses, to complete this gorgeous ladies line up.

Handsome groom Iain, wore his own kilt outfit which was the Modern Campbell of Argyll, purchased at McCalls.

There were lots of gorgeous flowers at this wedding, which were provided by Val Morrison.
As well as the girls all having beautiful bouquets, there were beautiful displays in and around the function suite, and on all the tables.
Val was joined by Hazel from Robins Egg, who brought some vintage Chic to this wedding!

After a lovely ceremony conducted by Humanist Rachel Donald, it was time for some photographs in the lovely grounds of Aswanley.
Meanwhile guests relaxed and enjoyed the Ritz Jazz Trio while they sipped prosecco and enjoyed lovely canapes provided by Country Flavours.

As always, Country Flavours also served a beautiful meal, which was enjoyed by all (including the very grateful photographer and videographers!).
The wonderful wedding cake was provided by Evelyn’s Cake boutique, and was decorated with more lovely flowers.

The couple chose the superb ceilidh band Galik Bred to round off their fabulous day.

We wish Rachel and Iain all the best for a long and very happy future together as Mr and Mrs Campbell!
