It was good to be back at the beautiful Logie Country House on Saturday with lovely couple Shanon and Jacob. It was pretty cold, but we still managed to get outside to capture the last of the Autumn colour.

Shanon and Jacob both live in London now, but Shanon grew up in Aberdeen, while Jacob is from Australia. It was a chance meeting in London at a friends party that brought the two together, and the rest as they say is history!

Shanon looked stunning in a gorgeous Pronovias gown from Perfect Bridal, and her bridesmaids complimented her perfectly in their Motee Maids dresses from Ivory Grace. Hair and make up were done by Kimberley Logie and Samantha Cardno, and the girls all looked beautiful.

Gorgeous bouquets provided by Hay’s Flowers brought a lovely white winter wedding look and finished the lovely ladies line up beautifully. Hay’s also provided stunning flowers to decorate the ballroom for the ceremony and the meal.

Marie Main provided wonderful harp music during the wedding ceremony, which added a lovely touch to this special occasion. Guests were also treated to the Ritz Trio as they relaxed in the afternoon, and of course there was a Scottish touch from Alba Bagpipes and the Turriff Pipe Band especially for the Australian visitors!

After a wonderful meal provided by Hudson’s Catering it was time for evening entertainment from brilliant band Cassien.

A fabulous day for a fabulous couple and all their friends and family.

We wish Shanon and Jacob all the best for a wonderful future together!

Saturday saw us back at the lovely Logie Country House for the wedding of Chloe and Craig.
We first met Chloe and Craig back in October at their lovely pre wedding shoot. Time flew, and before we knew it, it was their wedding day!

Rain was forecast, but thankfully we didn’t see a drop and were able to make good use of the lovely Logie setting, as well as the house itself.

Chloe looked simply beautiful in her Stella York gown purchased at Angharad Bridal in Elgin, where she also purchased her lovely Bridesmaid’s gowns.
Make up artist Kara Kellas and hair stylist Zoe Peterkin finished the look of this stunning ladies line up!

Gorgeous bouquets were provided by the very talented Trina from Trina’s Art and Flowers, and her lovely flowers also adorned the beautiful ballroom.

Handsome Groom Craig wore his own kilt from Portsoy kilts in the lovely Highland Granite tartan.
His best men wore the Hebridean Heather from McCalls.

The couple exchanged gifts and messages to each other before the ceremony, leaving hardly a dry eye among family and even photographers!

The lovely ceremony was held in the ballroom by registrar Linda Rae, then it was time for guests to relax in the very capable hands of Gillian from Logie, and the Hudson team, who served up drinks and very tasty canapes.
Afternoon entertainment was provided by the superb Oliver Richards, and in between his best man duties, Craig’s best man Craig Souter also provided guests with more great entertainment!
Turriff and District Pipe Band added the perfect Scottish touch with a session of pipes and drums.

The Ballroom looked beautiful with it’s theme of favourite concert artists which the couple have seen.
As well as making their own stationery and favours, talented Groom Craig had even made his own Love Letters and flower wall! Great team effort!

Everyone enjoyed a fabulous meal, before some disco entertainment organised by Oliver Richards to round off the perfect day.

We wish Chloe and Craig all the best for a long and happy future together, and hope that they enjoy their honeymoon when it comes.

It was lovely to be back shooting the wedding of Hannah and Gary at the gorgeous Logie Country House on Wednesday, after a short break in the wedding season.
Logie Country House is such a pleasure to visit, with Gillian and the team from Hudson’s making everyone feel very welcome.

The day was cold and we even had a dusting of snow, but Hannah and Gary braved the elements and ventured out for some lovely shots around the house.

Hannah looked beautiful in her stunning gown from Midnight Elegance, where she had also purchased bridesmaid Joanne’s blush pink dress.
Gorgeous flowers from Trina’s art and flowers, and make up from Tiffany Dawson and hair by Alana Crouch, completed the girls look perfectly.

Handsome groom Gary wore his own kilt , very appropriately, in the Elliott tartan, and his groomsmen hired from Philip King.

Hannah and Gary have a gorgeous little boy called Harrison, who is eleven months old, and was possibly the best behaved baby we have ever met!
He had a great day, and charmed everyone with his wonderful personality and lovely smile!

The couple’s intimate ceremony was held in the house with family and friends, and conducted by the lovely Sheila Lawtie.

Guests relaxed and enjoyed the the open fire in the dining room, with drinks and canapes, while we spent some time photographing the lovely couple.

As usual the team at Hudson’s Catering had prepared a beautiful meal for everyone.

There was still time for some sparkler fun, before fabulous band Hip Flask got everyone in the mood for dancing!

We wish Hannah, Gary and Harrison all the best for a fantastic future together!

On Saturday we returned to the beautiful Logie Country House with lovely couple Victoria and Gary.

The weather was challenging, with all seasons in one day!
Thankfully, this did not dampen the spirits of our couple, who enjoyed themselves from start to finish, and smiled through a pretty chilly photoshoot!

Victoria looked simply stunning in her gorgeous gown from Perfect Bridal.
Lovely bridesmaids Jade, Bex, Kimmy and flower girl Miley, complimented her perfectly.

Handsome groom Gary had his kilt outfit made for him by Gibbs menswear.

After a lovely ceremony, it was time to dodge showers, and take in all the lovely photo opportunities that Logie has to offer.

Victoria and Gary have a gorgeous dog Hugo, so of course the photos would not have been complete without some lovely shots with him!
And very well behaved he was too!

The ball room had been beautifully decorated by the fantastic three tiers, and had a rustic winter theme. Just perfect!
Victoria and Gary had joined in to create the centre pieces.

The meal was provided by Hudsons catering, and was just superb, as always.

A further bit of fun and sparkle was added to the day, with some evening sparkler fun. Well, it was the 5th of November!!

Fantastic evening entertainment was provided by excellent band, The Sparks. Somewhat appropriate!

The day ran seamlessly as always, thanks to Gillian and the team at Logie, who always go that extra mile!
Well done especially on your fab idea for lighting the sparklers!

We wish Victoria and Gary all the best for a wonderful married life!

Last Saturday brought us for the first time, to the beautiful Logie Country House with lovely couple Juli and Iain.

Logie is such a lovely relaxed setting for a wedding, and the weather could not have been better!
It was nice to meet Gillian Black from Logie, who is an excellent host and who couldn’t have worked harder at making the day go smoothly!

Juli looked absolutely stunning in her Ronald Joyce gown which she purchased at Avorio bridal.
Her Bridesmaids Nicola, Stacy, Lee-Anne, Nicola and Lisa complimented her perfectly in their beautiful pink dresses.

The handsome groom and his best men wore the Lovat tweed.
Iain’s outfit was made for him by the very professional team at Georgian Kilt hire.

After a lovely ceremony conducted by Vanessa Smith, it was time for guests to mingle and time for some photos with our couple.
Juli and Iain were a very relaxed couple who were very motivated and excited about their photography, so were a real pleasure to work with!
We enjoyed time both inside and outside in the beautiful grounds of Logie.

The lovely enthusiastic team at Hudsons Catering provided Juli and Iain and their guests with a fabulous meal.
Trina’s flowers from Insch, and Gillian from Logie Country House worked their magic in the ballroom, and it looked stunning, with a lovely rustic theme.

Evening entertainment was provided by superb band Slinky, who had been booked through agents Elite Promotions.
Wonderful entertainment to round off a wonderful day!

The lovely Scott Cassie from Scott video was recording the day and we will all look forward to seeing his film!

We wish all the best to Juli and Iain for a wonderful future together as Mr and Mrs Penny!

See below for all their excellent suppliers.
