We had the privilege of shooting at two new venues last weekend with Margaret and James, and what a fabulous time we had!

First was the beautiful Auchterless Church where the lovely ceremony was to be held, and then on to the fabulous Wardhill Castle, where guests could mingle before gathering in the marquee for dinner and dancing.

Margaret looked both stunning and elegant in her gorgeous Pronovias gown purchased at Avorio, and her lovely bridesmaids looked beautiful in True Bride dresses from Blush Bridal.

Hair and make up were provided by Simone Saint and Francine Ray and were faultless as always.

Bliss from Turriff provided beautiful flowers which finished off everything perfectly for the girls.

After a lovely ceremony at Auchterless, it was back to Wardhill for the lovely celebrations with family and friends.

Margaret and James had the cutest flower girls and page boys, and they were absolutely brilliant all day long! We have some fabulous moments with all of them.

The marquee looked beautiful, having been provided by Esslemont Marquees, with floral table center pieces from Val Morrison, who also provided the wonderful catering.

A fabulous rustic bar was provided by Dutch Courage, and fantastic evening entertainment provided by band Gold Star from Edinburgh.

It is safe to say that the most amazing time was had by all, and we wish bride and groom all the best for a fabulous future!

See below for all the suppliers who played a part in this wonderful wedding day.

What a fabulous wedding day we had with Amber and Barry and their family and friends at Glen Tanar last weekend.

It’s been a while since we photographed a wedding at Glen Tanar, and it was certainly wonderful to be back!

Amber and Barry were a very enthusiastic couple from the first day we met them, and true to form they were just the best sports on the day!

The wedding was so personal and just the perfect mix of fun, laughter and emotion from everyone. You certainly would never have guessed that the rain barely stopped all day!

Amber had mentioned to us what a lovely and helpful coordinator Shona from Glen Tanar had been, and Shona’s commitment and friendship to the couple was evident throughout the day.

Amber looked simply stunning in her wedding gown purchased at Avorio, and her lovely bridesmaids complimented her perfectly in their pale pink dresses.

The girl’s bouquets were just gorgeous and were provided by Flowers by Lesley in Stonehaven. Lesley also provided the lovely table flowers and a stunning floral display in the Ballroom.

The handsome groom and his groomsmen hired their kilt outfits from Georgian Dress Hire.

The wedding ceremony was held in the lovely intimate candlelit setting of St Lesmo Chapel, which is just so full of character. Amber and her Dad were piped in by family friend Daniel.

After the ceremony it was off to the gorgeous lake setting to capture some lovely moments with our bride and groom.

Guests were very well looked after back at the ballroom where they enjoyed refreshments. Going down a storm were Barry’s mum’s home bakes. A particular favourite with a certain photographer was the aero tray bake!

As well as refreshments there was fabulous afternoon entertainment provided by singer Myke Black and Rich Gordon on the sax.

Other lovely personal touches at the wedding included Amber’s Dad’s vintage Jaguar which was the wedding car, his gin bar, whisky barrels and message bike. The beautiful wedding cake was also made by Amber’s brother’s girlfriend Chloe!

Hudson’s Catering provided a fabulous meal and service as always, and the only thing left to do was to dance the night away to the superb band Callenish, who provided a wonderful mix of ceilidh and contemporary music.

We wish this lovely couple all the very best for a fantastic future together, and hope that our photographs will always provide them with a lasting memory of their perfect day!

We were very much looking forward to Chelsea and Bruce’s March wedding, having previously spent time with them and their lovely dog Alfie at their pre wedding shoot at Haddo House. Nothing however could have prepared us all for such a white wedding! The snow barely stopped all day, but Chelsea and Bruce and their lovely friends and family certainly made the most of it, and I expect everyone will be talking about this wedding for a long time!

Chelsea looked stunning in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown purchased at Avorio Bridal, and her Bridesmaids complimented her beautifully in their lovely pale blue dresses from Dressage.

The handsome men’s line up wore their own kilts and Bruce and his Dad wore the Cumming tartan.

After a lovely ceremony, guests relaxed together and enjoyed entertainment from Phoenix Magic.

It sure was cold, but it would have been a shame not to get outside to capture some winter wonderland pictures! Chelsea and Bruce were great sports however, and braved the cold with big smiles, and ended the shoot with a huge snowball fight! After all the fun that was had, I don’t think anyone was feeling the cold any more!

After a wonderful meal in the ballroom it was time for some very lively entertainment from superb band Bahookie. This was the perfect end to the perfect day for Chelsea and Bruce. We hope they are having a fabulous time in the Caribbean, having left the snowy North East for a couple of weeks! We wish them all the best for a wonderful future together as Mr and Mrs Cumming.

It was another lovely Autumn day on Friday for the wonderful wedding of Eirian and Daniel at Maryculter House.

Eirian looked just stunning in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown which she purchased from Avorio.

Her lovely bridesmaids, sister Alisanne, Dionne, Bethany and Abby looked very pretty in pink Hayley Paige dresses.

The handsome groom and his men hired their kilt outfits from McCalls, and chose the Granite Pride tartan.

The ceremony was conducted by humanist Rachel Donald, who as always made everyone feel very relaxed. Eirian’s friend Miriam sang while the couple signed the register, which was a lovely personal touch.

While guests relaxed and enjoyed drinks and canapes, we spent time with bride and groom in the lovely grounds of Maryculter.

Ruffle and Rose had decorated the function suite, and it looked just beautiful! The perfect setting for family and friends to enjoy a wonderful meal together.

There were some more lovely personal touches from Eirian’s sister in law Claire who made the lovely wedding cake, and mum Shona who made the strawberry vodka favours.

Excellent band Velvet Noir rounded off the evening perfectly providing lively entertainment for all.

We wish Eirian and Daniel all the best for a long and very happy marriage.

We thoroughly enjoyed photographing the lovely wedding of David and Liliana at Meldrum House last Saturday.

We first met the couple at their pre wedding shoot at Haddo House last Autumn, and we knew then that they would be good fun to work with.

David hails from Scotland, and Liliana from Venezuela, so their wedding saw not only the coming together of two families, but also two different cultures!
Their love for each other, and their happiness and enthusiasm on the day, just shone through in the photographs!

Liliana looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous Pronovias gown which she purchased at Avorio bridal.
Bridesmaids Amaranta, Fae and Maria complimented her beautifully in their lovely Kelsey Rose dresses.
Beautiful flowers from Nicky Walker finished their look perfectly.

David and his Groomsmen wore the Anderson tartan of course, and looked very smart indeed!
David wore his own outfit, while the others hired from Georgian Dress Hire.

The lovely ceremony was conducted by Eve Bailey and was very heartfelt and emotional.

While guests mingled and got to know each other better, we spent time with Liliana and David and simply had the best models to work with!
Along with Steve and Cheryl from Orchard Video, we had a great time with lots of laughs!

The ballroom looked beautiful, decorated by North East Events, and with gorgeous flowers from Nicky Walker.
The theme was travel, and the tables were named after various football stadiums around the world. We feel David may have had a say in this!

Guests were treated to a wonderful meal before being entertained by the great band Fifth Avenue.

We hope that Liliana and David are having a great honeymoon, and wish them all the best for what we know will be a fabulous future together as Mr and Mrs Anderson!

See below for a list of all the fabulous suppliers who helped make this day a dream come true!
