We joined Julie and Scott and their families last Saturday for their lovely wedding at St Machar’s Cathedral and Norwood Hall.

Julie looked stunning in her Charlotte Balbier gown which she purchased at Ivory Grace. Her Bridesmaids looked lovely in pale green dresses.

Make up was again covered by the very talented Tiffany Dawson, and along with hair from Rebecca at Havivah, the girls looked beautiful!

Gorgeous flowers from Sakura in Alford completed the look for these lovely ladies.

Handsome groom Scott and his groomsmen wore the Autumn Pride tartan, which they hired from McCalls.

At last we had a warm day free of rain, so a great chance for everyone to be able to spend some time outside.

After the lovely ceremony at St Machar’s it was off to Norwood Hall for a bit of time to relax in good company.

A wonderful meal was enjoyed by all, followed by great evening entertainment provided by band Velvet Noir.

It was such a perfect day for Julie and Scott, and we hope they have a fabulous honeymoon and wish them all the best for a wonderful future together.

See below for all the suppliers who helped them with their wedding journey.

What a great time we had with Fiona and Liam and their families on Friday, at Strichen Parish Church and the Banff Springs!

Fiona and Liam were a lovely couple who were very excited about their photography and up for anything!

Fiona looked stunning in her Augusta Jones gown which she purchased at Ivory Grace and her lovely bridesmaids looked so pretty in their pink dresses from Blush Bridal.

Steph Park and Melissa Cheyne covered hair and make up, and gorgeous flowers were provided by Aimi from The Flower Shop in Peterhead.

The handsome men wore their own kilts in the Scott tartan of course!

After a lovely ceremony at Strichen Parish Church, guests retired to the Banff Springs to relax and mingle, and we headed to a nearby lake for some beautiful photographs of Fiona and Liam. The setting was just lovely and the jetty and a lone fisherman all added to a stunning and fun photoshoot!

It was back to the hotel to mix with guests and get ready for the evening meal.

The function suit looked beautiful. A lovely personal touch were the favours, which were a charity donation to the Buttony Bear charity which provides special teddy bears for every child who has to have a stoma. This is something very close to Fiona’s heart as she is a stoma nurse. Please see a link to the face book page for this fantastic charity below in the style file. It is heart warming indeed.

It was off to the beach after dinner for some more memorable moments with Fiona and Liam. Lovely setting and too good to miss!

It couldn’t have been a more perfect day, but evening entertainment from the Graham Geddes band certainly rounded it off, after a surprise introduction by videoclip for the first dance !

We had an amazing coincidence on Friday. Our second shooter for the day was David Clark, who himself has been through bowel cancer and had to have a stoma. It just so happened that Fiona and two of her guests were nurses who had nursed him through his time in hospital. Helping us with Fiona’s wedding was something that was very special for David. We captured a great moment with the three of them and both Fiona and David’s Buttony Bear! The nurses will understand the significance of the card with the heart!! When David popped back into the reception in the evening to say goodbye, he was spotted by more nurses from the ward who mentioned they hardly recognised him with his clothes on!

We wish our lovely couple Fiona and Liam all the best for a fantastic future together as Mr and Mrs Scott.

Saturday was spent at the lovely Ardoe House with Lauren and Ross.

The weather forecast had told us it would rain all day, and it did just that!

However, when surrounded by family, friends, love and laughter, a spot of rain will not dampen the day!

Lauren was a gorgeous bride, and wore a stunning gown by Charlotte Balbier which she purchased from Ivory Grace Bridal.

Bridesmaids Donna, Eve and Ellie wore beautiful jade green dresses also from Ivory Grace.

The gorgeous girls line up was completed with gorgeous and very unusual bouquets provided by the Flower shop in Peterhead.

Handsome groom Ross and his groomsmen hired their Midnight Pride kilt outfits from McCalls.

After a lovely ceremony, Lauren and Ross were visited by their adorable dog Winston, who was a very welcome guest indeed!

After a few photographs in the house, the couple bravely ventured out with brollies for a quick few shots in the rain!

The beautiful ballroom was a welcome retreat, and had been decorated with a rustic theme by the Flower shop and North East Events.

A vegan cake was a must for bride Lauren, and a beautiful one had been provided by Cakes by Shannon.

Guest favours included flavoured gin and whisky, and a personal touch from Lauren’s granny of lovely tablet.

After a lovely meal it was time for lively entertainment provided by fabulous band Irn Bru.

We hope Lauren and Ross are having a wonderful honeymoon, and we wish them all the best for a fantastic future together.

On Friday we had our first beautiful wedding at Elsick House with lovely couple Michelle and Tom.

We first met Michelle and Tom back in November when we did a lovely pre wedding shoot with them at Dunnottar Castle, and at home on Michelle’s Dad’s farm in Stonehaven. With a farming background, it was lovely to see the couple bring a touch of country life to their wedding!

Michelle looked stunning and so elegant in her Augusta Jones gown which she purchased at Ivory Grace. Bridesmaids Jacqueline, Lyndsey, Gemma and Steph completed this beautiful ladies line up wearing gorgeous pink dresses from Blush Bridal.

Tom wore his own kilt which is the muted Grant.

Family and friends gathered at Dunnottar Church to see the couple being married by Minister Rosalind Duncan, before joining them at Elsick House for a wonderful celebration. The couple were piped in and out by family friend Gregor Macintosh.

The day had started wet, but the rain stopped as we returned to Elsick, allowing us some time with Michelle and Tom in the fabulous grounds of the House. Guests relaxed and mingled, enjoying canopes and drinks while listening to the excellent Myke Black singing.

The marquee looked beautiful, with table decorations from Higher Calling Events and a beautiful cake made by Truly Scrumptious Cakes by Joanne. The favours were  lovely little pots of homemade jam made by Tom’s granny Grant. So nice to see the whole family involved in the wedding preparations!

A fantastic meal from Hudsons Catering was enjoyed by all, before the evening entertainment was provided by great band Bahookie.

We wish Michelle and Tom all the best for a wonderful future together as Mr and Mrs Greenhill.

See below for all the suppliers who contributed to making this the perfect day.

We were lucky enough to be back at the fabulous Fasque Castle on Saturday, for the lovely wedding of Emma and John.

It was a chilly April day, but bride and groom had added many beautiful touches to their lovely venue, making it very welcoming indeed!

Emma was a beautiful bride, wearing a gorgeous Augusta Jones gown which she purchased at Ivory Grace.
Her lovely Bridesmaids, Keri, Gillian and Kirsteen wore beautiful deep pink Dessy dresses purchased at Brides Delight.

The handsome groom and his groomsmen were kitted out at McCalls, and the groom wore, very fittingly, the Cameron tartan.

The ceremony was held at the lovely St Andrews church on the Fasque estate.

Afterwards guests were treated to some lovely music by harpist Marie Main.
To add to the fun, the couple had hired a fabulous carousel for anyone fancying some fairground fun!

The function room looked stunning, with so many lovely touches.
Gorgeous flowers were provided by the very talented Isla Duncan, and a simply beautiful cake, by Laura Lane.

Lots of fun was had at the speeches, before everyone enjoyed a lovely meal.

The smooth running of the day was largely down to talented wedding planner Rebecca Barnett, who had played a big part in the setting up of all the wonderful decor in the function room and around the castle.

Evening entertainment was provided by excellent band, Velvet 5.

Later in the evening everyone was entertained by the superb Grampian Police band, before enjoying a wonderful fireworks display.

It was a truly magical wedding day for Emma and John and their families, and we wish them both a fabulous honeymoon, and wonderful life together as Mr and Mrs Cameron!

See below for all their well chosen suppliers.
