What an amazing day we had with Beverley and Ryan and their Scottish and Australian families, at the wonderful Fasque Castle on Hogmanay!

Who would have thought that this Scottish lass would meet her future husband whilst back packing in Western Australia!
So fitting that good friend and Bridesmaid Corrie would be the one who helped them to meet, when deciding to go skydiving from a plane, which happened to be flown by Ryan!
The rest is history as they say!

Beverley looked so stunning in her Kenneth Winstone dress from Brides Delight, complimented by her three lovely Bridesmaids, sister Barbara, friends Corrie and Rosie, who wore Maids to measure dresses from Perfect Bridal.

Flowers for the girls were provided by Kirsty at Flower Vogue and looked so beautiful, with lovely Scottish thistles added as well as a touch of Scottish pine!

Ryan and his groomsmen wore the Heather tartan from Georgian Dress Hire.

The wedding ceremony conducted by humanist Laura Craddock, was so very personal, with Beverley and Ryan saying their own vows, which hardly left a dry eye amongst the guests!

A bit of Scottish rain meant that outdoor photos were a bit limited, but there were plenty of beautiful indoor opportunities at Fasque Castle.

Sinclairs Catering provided a beautiful meal for everyone, while speeches were said in between courses.

Evening entertainment was provided by Or Ceilidh Band, and was enjoyed by everyone, but perhaps mostly by the Australian visitors!

Scottish stovies served later in the evening went down very well, as did the winter warmer bar serving hot chocolate, mulled wine and whiskey!
The evening was rounded of perfectly with a fantastic firework display to celebrate midnight, and the dawn of year 2017!

What a wonderful start to the new year! A wedding full of love and tradition!

We wish all the best to Beverley and Ryan as they set off for a life together as Mr and Mrs Pelquest-Hunt!
Enjoy your wonderful honeymoon and future together in Brisbane!

After a morning of heavy rain on Saturday, the skies cleared, and what a beautiful Autumn day it was for the lovely wedding of Jen and Tom.

Jen and Tom had travelled a long way from their home in Portishead, to celebrate their wedding with family and friends nearer to Jen’s hometown in Aberdeen.

The gorgeous Fasque Castle was their chosen venue, and looked stunning as always in a perfect Autumn setting.

Jen looked both stunning and elegant in her Lusan Mandongus gown which she purchased from Kavelle Couture in Edinburgh.
Jen’s eight bridesmaids had all chosen different dresses, and complimented Jen beautifully.

After a lovely ceremony in the chapel it was time to capture some beautiful moments with Jen and Tom and the wedding party.

Guests were well entertained during the day by Thistle Piping and music from the Rococo quartet.

After the speeches, everyone enjoyed a lovely meal provided by caterers, Wild Thyme, and the day ended perfectly with music from the fabulous five piece band, The Jets.

Our best wishes go to Jen and Tom for a wonderful future together as Mr and Mrs Stirling!

We enjoyed a midweek trip to Fasque House last week for the lovely wedding of Marie and Gareth.

Marie looked so elegant in her gorgeous gown by designers Essence of Australia, purchased at Perfect Bridal. Her bridesmaids looked lovely in their dresses from Avorio.

The couple held their ceremony in the lovely church on the Fasque House estate, surrounded by their family and friends.

Afterwards as guests mingled on the terrace, we enjoyed a fun filled photoshoot with Marie and Gareth. Marie had chosen something very different for her something blue, in the shape of a lovely blue lambretta! Great photo opportunity for us with this fun loving couple!

Marie and Gareth added many lovely personal touches to their reception. First with their favours, including a love spoon for the ladies and a Help for Heroes badge for the men. The Help for Heroes charity is very close to Gareth’s heart as he served 14 years in the Royal Logistics Corps. Gareth’s sister had made their gorgeous wedding cake, and tables were named after Welsh and Scottish Mountains, as Gareth is Welsh.

Last but certainly not least, guests were treated to an evening’s entertainment from the band Last Resort. Perfect end to the perfect day for our couple at the stunning Fasque House Estate. All the best to Marie and Gareth from us for a long and happy future together!

We enjoyed another lovely visit to Fasque House last weekend with Ruth and Paul and their guests, as they celebrated their marriage.

Ruth looked absolutely stunning in her elegant wedding gown by designer Maggie Sottero. Her gown and her beautiful bridesmaid’s gowns were all from Avorio bridal.

This wedding had many lovely personal touches, including the stems of Ruth’s bouquet from Isla Duncan, being wrapped in the Ferguson tartan which is Ruth’s family tartan.

After an intimate ceremony, guests enjoyed refreshments on the terrace, including a wonderful collection of sweet treats! Meanwhile we enjoyed time with the couple taking some fabulous shots in the beautiful setting of Fasque House and grounds.

After a lovely meal in a “T in the park” theme, the wedding party enjoyed entertainment from the band Something Blue from Glasgow.

All the best from us to the new Mr and Mrs Main for a wonderful future together!

It was great to be back at the gorgeous Fasque House on Saturday with our lovely couple Gemma and Sean.

Gemma looked stunning in her beautiful gown from Avorio Bridal, and her bridesmaids complimented her perfectly in lovely “Two Birds” dresses from the Bridal Boutique.

The day ran smoothly from start to finish, with lots of fun and emotion on this perfect couple’s wedding day.

Guests were treated to a sumptuous meal, followed by great entertainment from Jason Porter and Pepperpot. Young and old alike enjoyed the chocolate fountain and candy cart, while lots of fun was had at the fun photo booth during the evening.

Enjoy the photographs, and find out which suppliers  Gemma  used for her perfect day.
