It was lovely to be back at the wonderful Raemoir House Hotel on Saturday with Kirsten and Robert.

The couple and their lovely little boy Coen had travelled all the way back to Scotland from their home in Perth, Australia to celebrate with family and friends.

It was a very warm and heavy day weather wise, which even ended in thunder and lightening! None of that happened however, before a fabulous outdoor day was spent with family, friends, lots of fun and photographs!

Kirsten had an absolutely gorgeous, timeless look, in her Pronovias gown

from Perfect Bridal. It was a definite show stopper and has been hugely admired since the wedding.

Completing the stunning ladies look was Alana McCrae on make up and Elaine Brown on hair. Beautiful and faultless as always!

The handsome mens line up hired their outfits from McCalls.

After a lovely ceremony in the marque, it was time for the guests to mingle, and time for us to capture some lovely moments with the bride and groom.

A wonderful meal was enjoyed by all before the evening entertainment provided by the band Eclipse.

A special personal touch was added by Kirsten’s aunt who sang the Bonnie Raitt song “Feels Like Home” for Kirsten and Roberts first dance, and three cousins who sang the Aviici song “Hey Brother” for their second dance.

We hope that Kirsten and Robert have a great time on honeymoon, and wish them and Coen all the best for a wonderful future together!

Saturday brought us to the lovely Raemoir House Hotel for the beautiful wedding of Nicola and Iain.

The couple and their family and friends could not have wished for a more perfect day.
The sun shone and there was not a cloud in the sky.
It was easy to forget that it was still only May in Aberdeen!

Nicola wore a gorgeous Ronald Joyce gown purchased at Perfect Bridal, and looked simply stunning.
Nicola’s bridesmaids Lisa, Sarah, Christina and Georgina wore lovely silver Jenny Packham dresses.
Wow what a beautiful line up they made, finished off with fabulous bouquets from Isla Duncan!

Iain, his best man and groomsmen, looked very handsome indeed in their Black Watch kilt outfits hired from McCalls.

The lovely relaxed ceremony was held in the wonderful marquee at Raemoir and conducted by humanist Rachel Donald.

While we spent some time with our Bride and Groom, family and friends were able to relax in the sunshine, sipping champagne and listening to fabulous live singing provided by Mareesa from the band Soul Inferno, who were due to perform in the evening.

The marquee looked beautiful for the evening meal, decorated by Fairytale events and topped off with more beautiful flowers from Isla Duncan.

After some emotional speeches, and a wonderful meal, it was time to relax into the evening entertainment from Soul Inferno.

We hope Nicola and Iain have a fantastic honeymoon in California, and wish them all the best for a long and wonderful future together!

On Saturday we headed to St Columba’s Church in Banchory, for the lovely wedding ceremony of Caroline and Duncan.

Afterwards we moved on to the beautiful Raemoir House Hotel, where the couple celebrated their marriage with family and friends.

Caroline looked stunning and so very elegant in her gorgeous Pronovias gown which she purchased at Avorio bridal.
Sister Lizzie and friend Sonia complimented her beautifully in their Jacques Vert bridesmaid dresses.

Duncan wore his own kilt in the family tartan, which was made at Neil Selbie.

The gorgeous bouquets and table flowers were provided by the very talented Donna at XOXO, and had a beautiful Spring look to them.

In the function room, and throughout the hotel, there was a Cocoa Beach theme, inspired by wonderful trips by the couple to Florida.
The two stunning cakes however, were Australian themed, inspired by Duncan’s proposal to Caroline in Australia.
We have to say these two cakes, provided by Celebration Cake shop, were two of the most creative that we have ever seen!

Caroline’s mum Catherine had played a large part in decorating the house, and had decorated the wedding tables beautifully.

This very musical family provided some of their own musical entertainment throughout the evening, whilst enjoying the company of their guests.
Caroline’s sister Lizzie sang in a group both during the ceremony and afterwards, and Caroline’s dad, who is part of the Rubislaw pipe band, piped the couple into the wedding meal.
Later in the evening he was joined by members of the pipe band, who entertained guests.

There was a final treat in store for everyone with a fantastic firework display!
It really was the perfect end to the perfect day for this lovely couple and their families.

We wish Caroline and Duncan all the best in their future together as Mr and Mrs Harwood!

We enjoyed a trip to the gorgeous Raemoir House Hotel last weekend for the lovely wedding of Hannah and Ross.

The weather on Deeside was rather wet that afternoon, however a great time was had by all regardless!

Hannah was simply stunning in her bridal gown, purchased at Blush Bridal.
Her four bridesmaids completed this beautiful line up in their lovely lilac dresses.

The men were a fun loving bunch, and looked great in their “guy pictures”, in kilts hired from McCalls.

After a lovely ceremony in the beautiful marquee, it was time for guests to mingle and enjoy the wonderful singer, Mike Black, and for us to capture some lovely pictures of our bride and groom.

Guests were treated to a wonderful meal and then more fantastic entertainment from excellent band Velvet 5.

A lovely day spent with a lovely couple.
We wish Hannah and Ross all the best for a long and happy future together!
