Maree and Martyn intimate wedding at Maryculter House
Maree looked stunning in her gorgeous gown purchased at Perfect Bridal Rooms and her bridesmaids looked very pretty in pale blue.
Who would have believed it would be our first wedding of the year on Saturday with lovely couple Maree and Martyn at Maryculter House.
It certainly has been a very strange year, but this couple decided they had waited long enough and went ahead with their wedding and a small number of their close family.
Their wedding turned out to be a very relaxed and intimate day, with many highlights including riverside walks with their beautiful dog Alfie and even a visit to see Grandad in the care home.
Maree looked stunning in her gorgeous gown purchased at Perfect Bridal Rooms and her bridesmaids looked very pretty in pale blue.
Groom Martyn and his groomsmen wore Highland Granite Blue kilts. Martyn’s kilt was made by the very talented Katie McGarva from Katie McGarva kilts, who happens to be a very good friend of the couple.
Transport for the day were two camper vans which added a very quirky retro touch to the wedding.
Even though the weather did not exactly play ball, the couple still managed to have a lovely outdoor riverside ceremony before the rain!
On the same date next year they are planning a big reception with all their family and friends, which seems to us just the perfect solution. It is certainly going to be a very happy first anniversary for them both!
We wish Maree and Martyn a fabulous future together as Mr and Mrs Valentine!
