Fiona and Liam at Strichen Parish Church and Banff Springs

After a lovely ceremony at Strichen Parish Church, guests retired to the Banff Springs to relax and mingle, and we headed to a nearby lake for some beautiful photographs of Fiona and Liam
What a great time we had with Fiona and Liam and their families on Friday, at Strichen Parish Church and the Banff Springs!
Fiona and Liam were a lovely couple who were very excited about their photography and up for anything!
Fiona looked stunning in her Augusta Jones gown which she purchased at Ivory Grace and her lovely bridesmaids looked so pretty in their pink dresses from Blush Bridal.
Steph Park and Melissa Cheyne covered hair and make up, and gorgeous flowers were provided by Aimi from The Flower Shop in Peterhead.
The handsome men wore their own kilts in the Scott tartan of course!
After a lovely ceremony at Strichen Parish Church, guests retired to the Banff Springs to relax and mingle, and we headed to a nearby lake for some beautiful photographs of Fiona and Liam. The setting was just lovely and the jetty and a lone fisherman all added to a stunning and fun photoshoot!
It was back to the hotel to mix with guests and get ready for the evening meal.
The function suite looked beautiful. A lovely personal touch were the favours, which were a charity donation to the Buttony Bear charity which provides special teddy bears for every child who has to have a stoma. This is something very close to Fiona’s heart as she is a stoma nurse. Please see a link to the face book page for this fantastic charity below in the style file. It is heart warming indeed.
It was off to the beach after dinner for some more memorable moments with Fiona and Liam. Lovely setting and too good to miss!
It couldn’t have been a more perfect day, but evening entertainment from the Graham Geddes band certainly rounded it off, after a surprise introduction by videoclip for the first dance !
We had an amazing coincidence on Friday. Our second shooter for the day was David Clark, who himself has been through bowel cancer and had to have a stoma. It just so happened that Fiona and two of her guests were nurses who had nursed him through his time in hospital. Helping us with Fiona’s wedding was something that was very special for David. We captured a great moment with the three of them and both Fiona and David’s Buttony Bear! The nurses will understand the significance of the card with the heart!! When David popped back into the reception in the evening to say goodbye, he was spotted by more nurses from the ward who mentioned they hardly recognised him with his clothes on!
We wish our lovely couple Fiona and Liam all the best for a fantastic future together as Mr and Mrs Scott.
