Hayley and Barry at Elsick House
Hayley was a beautiful bride and she totally rocked her gorgeous Pronovias gown!
It was a pleasure to be back shooting at the lovely Elsick House last week for the wonderful wedding of Hayley and Barry. The couple had rescheduled their wedding a few times, but I am sure they would agree that their day was well worth the wait. They had the most fabulous day filled with emotion and so much fun and laughter.
Yet again the weather behaved and we were able to catch some gorgeous autumn colour in the lovely grounds of Elsick House. Hayley and Barry were a lovely relaxed couple and the bridal party were so much fun to work with which made our job very easy.
Hayley was a beautiful bride and she totally rocked her gorgeous Pronovias gown which she purchased at Perfect Bridal.
Although both Hayley and Barry hail originally from South Africa, Barry opted to wear the kilt in his own Pienaar tartan! Barry’s dad designed the tartan and had it registered. The colours in the kilt represent the green and gold of South Africa and the purple of Scottish heather. Certainly a very personal touch to the wedding day.
Hayley is a teacher and it was very touching to see some of her pupils travel to Elsick to see her on her wedding day, even joining in with some confetti fun!
Guests enjoyed a very intimate ceremony with the couple, then a wonderful meal provided by Hudsons Catering. Evening entertainment included a bit of sparkler fun and a lively ceilidh provided by the superb Real Stramash from Glasgow.
We wish Hayley and Barry all the best for a fabulous future together.
