Saturday brought us to the Banff Springs hotel for the wedding of the very lovely Sarah and Callum.

Just when we all thought Spring had sprung however, back came winter with a dose of hail and wind just to keep us all on our toes!
Thankfully we were working with a very relaxed couple, who took everything in their stride, and enjoyed every minute of their day.

Sarah was a stunning bride, and wore a fantastic Ian Stuart gown purchased at Avorio bridal, which really had the wow factor!
On top of that, she simply did not stop smiling the whole day, making our job an absolute pleasure!
Bridesmaid Jodi complimented Sarah beautifully in a lovely blue gown also purchased at Avorio.

Gorgeous flowers to complete the bridal look were provided by Catriona at Blooming Gorgeous.

Callum and his groomsmen wore (very appropriately) the Royal Stewart tartan, completing this lovely bridal party.

After an intimate ceremony, we headed out to capture some outdoor shots of our couple, returning to the comfort of the Banff Springs to capture some more.

Sarah and Callum’s dining area was beautifully decorated by Gemma Victoria at Ruffle and Rose.
Amy from Couture wedding cakes by Sweet Cheeks, had made a beautiful cake, personalised with Sarah and Callum’s pets!
There was a lovely Easter theme running too, with lovely egg cup favours made by the bride and groom.

After a wonderful meal, guests were treated to an evening of entertainment provided by fantastic band, Velvet 5!

The perfect wedding for the perfect couple!

All the best Sarah and Callum in your future together as Mr and Mrs Stewart!

Saturday saw us at the Hilton Treetops for the lovely wedding of Josie and Robert.

The couple could not have hoped for a better spring day, as the weather was glorious.

Josie looked beautiful in her gorgeous wedding gown and was complimented beautifully by lovely bridesmaids Jill and Kelly.

Robert and his groomsmen were kitted out by McCalls, and wore the Pride of Scotland tartan.
Robert’s two young nephews Ethan and Jude completed the handsome men’s line up, and were very well behaved all day.

The beautiful weather meant we could spend a bit of time with our couple in the lovely setting of Johnston Gardens.

After a lovely meal, guests relaxed, mingled and danced the night away.

We wish Robert and Josie all the very best in their future together as Mr and Mrs Heenan.

We were very much looking forward to our first wedding of the year with Helen and Richard at the fabulous Fasque Castle.

We have photographed a few of Helen and Richard’s friends weddings, so it was lovely to see many familiar faces among the guests.

After a little early rain, the day brightened and we were able to enjoy some outdoor time in the lovely grounds of the Castle.

Helen looked beautiful in her gown purchased at Enchanted Boutique and was complimented by her lovely bridesmaids with dresses also from Enchanted Boutique.
Flower girls Lucy and Amy added the cute touch to this stunning line up, and were so well behaved.

The handsome men wore their own kilts, the groom’s being the Ancient Thomson.

The lovely intimate ceremony was conducted by humanist Rachel Donald, whilst Paul from band The Limit entertained guests on the piano.

The gorgeous function room had been beautifully decorated by WDB events, who had also provided all the lovely flowers.

A couple of personal touches came from the stationery made by Helen, and the stunning cake made by bridesmaid Steph’s very talented mum!

The day came to a perfect end as guests were entertained by fantastic band The Limit.

We hope that Helen and Richard are having an amazing honeymoon, and wish them all the best in their future together as Mr and Mrs Arton!

What an amazing day we had with Beverley and Ryan and their Scottish and Australian families, at the wonderful Fasque Castle on Hogmanay!

Who would have thought that this Scottish lass would meet her future husband whilst back packing in Western Australia!
So fitting that good friend and Bridesmaid Corrie would be the one who helped them to meet, when deciding to go skydiving from a plane, which happened to be flown by Ryan!
The rest is history as they say!

Beverley looked so stunning in her Kenneth Winstone dress from Brides Delight, complimented by her three lovely Bridesmaids, sister Barbara, friends Corrie and Rosie, who wore Maids to measure dresses from Perfect Bridal.

Flowers for the girls were provided by Kirsty at Flower Vogue and looked so beautiful, with lovely Scottish thistles added as well as a touch of Scottish pine!

Ryan and his groomsmen wore the Heather tartan from Georgian Dress Hire.

The wedding ceremony conducted by humanist Laura Craddock, was so very personal, with Beverley and Ryan saying their own vows, which hardly left a dry eye amongst the guests!

A bit of Scottish rain meant that outdoor photos were a bit limited, but there were plenty of beautiful indoor opportunities at Fasque Castle.

Sinclairs Catering provided a beautiful meal for everyone, while speeches were said in between courses.

Evening entertainment was provided by Or Ceilidh Band, and was enjoyed by everyone, but perhaps mostly by the Australian visitors!

Scottish stovies served later in the evening went down very well, as did the winter warmer bar serving hot chocolate, mulled wine and whiskey!
The evening was rounded of perfectly with a fantastic firework display to celebrate midnight, and the dawn of year 2017!

What a wonderful start to the new year! A wedding full of love and tradition!

We wish all the best to Beverley and Ryan as they set off for a life together as Mr and Mrs Pelquest-Hunt!
Enjoy your wonderful honeymoon and future together in Brisbane!

Friday took us to Meldrum House, for the beautiful winter wedding of Melissa and Chris.

The weather was unusually mild and bright and allowed us time outdoors to capture some very special shots.

Melissa wowed everyone in her gorgeous Mooshki gown, purchased at Pretty Woman in Edinburgh.
Bridesmaids Steph, Kimbers, Jade and Rachel added more sparkle to the occasion in their silver dresses from Enchanted Boutique.
Completing the ladies line up were lovely flower girls Lacey and Miley, who were not only beautiful, but also so very well behaved all day.
Beautiful flowers from Isla Duncan just added to the wow factor!

Melissa’s handsome groom Chris wore his own kilt outfit in the lovely Douglas tartan, while his groomsmen hired theirs from Gibbs Highlandwear.

The day would simply not have been complete without ring bearer Coco, Melissa and Chris’s gorgeous dog.
Even better, Coco had with him his best pal Huxley! Both looking very dapper in their kilt outfits!
These gorgeous pets were so well behaved.

The lovely ceremony conducted by Humanist Bob Johnston, was held in the ballroom which had been beautifully decorated by Kim at Aberdeen Wedding Shop.
Lovely music during the ceremony and afterwards to entertain the guests was provided by the very talented Myke Black.

We enjoyed time afterwards with our couple in and around the beautiful Meldrum House for some lovely photo opportunities.

A wonderful meal was enjoyed by all, before everyone was treated to the lovely surprise of the fantastic singer waiters from Secret Opera Singers.
Never have we seen such an enthusiastic crowd enjoying such a special moment!

We enjoyed some sparkler fun before the evening dancing, and then it was time for everyone to dance the night away with fantastic band Waterfront.

We wish Melissa, Chris and of course Coco, all the best for a fantastic future together!
